Parent/Child Lessons:
Shrimp/Kipper (6-12 months, therapy pool)
Inia (13-18 months, therapy pool)

Pike w/Parent (3-4 years, lap pool)
MUST BE THREE BY FIRST DAY OF CLASS. This class is designed as a transition for the fearful child or for the child with separation anxiety.
Preschool Lessons (3-5 years):
Pike
Min. 3, Max. 4
This is your child’s first swimming experience without a parent or guardian. This class will focus on water adjustment, kicking, blowing bubbles and paddling with assistance. Children will swim with and without flotation.
Pike Advanced
Min. 3, Max. 4
This class is for the child who is comfortable completely submerging their head under water. Proper use of instructional flotation devices, water safety and floating will be emphasized.
Eel
Min. 3, Max. 4
Children entering an Eel class should be comfortable paddling on their front, back and side 1 width of the pool with or without flotation. Stroke development, independent swimming and personal safety are emphasized.
Ray
Min. 3, Max. 4
Children entering a Ray class should have the ability to swim 1/2 length of the pool independently on both front and back. Children should be comfortable in the deep end of the pool. Continued stroke development and endurance are emphasized.
Starfish
Min. 3, Max. 6
Children entering a Starfish class should have the ability to swim 1 length of the pool without assistance as well as tread water for 15 seconds. Introduction to rhythmic breathing and symmetrical paddle included. This class will focus on stroke refinement and endurance.
Pre-Competitive Swim Team Clinic (5-7 years)
45 minute class for those who have completed the Starfish or Minnow levels and are almost ready for swim team.
Youth Lessons (6-12 years):
Polliwog
Min. 3, Max. 4
This class is for the beginner swimmer with no previous water experience necessary. This class will focus on water adjustment, front/back fl oat and paddle. Proper use of instructional flotation devices will be stressed.
Guppy
Min. 3, Max. 4
Children entering a Guppy class should be comfortable swimming with their face in the water. Guppy is an advanced beginner class that will introduce rhythmic breathing and stroke development.
Minnow
Min. 3, Max. 5
Children entering a minnow level swim lesson should be able to swim 1 length of the pool on both front and back. In the minnow level, strokes are refined and endurance increased. Breaststroke and elementary backstroke are introduced.
Fish
Min. 3, Max. 6
Children entering Fish level swim lessons should be able to swim 2 lengths of the pool front crawl and backstroke in good form. Breaststroke and elementary backstroke are refined and butterfly in introduced.
Endurance and stroke refinement are stressed.
Flying Fish
Min. 3, Max. 8
Children entering Flying Fish swim lessons should be able to swim 3 lengths of the pool front crawl, backstroke and elementary backstroke in good form. Continued development of butterfly, breastroke, starts and flip turns. Stroke refinement and endurance reinforced.
Shark/Porpoise
Min. 3, Max. 8
Children entering this class should be able to swim four lengths of the pool front crawl and backstroke. This class will continue working on flip turns, stroke refinement and endurance. Competitive swim strokes such as individual medley will be practiced.
Competitive Swim Team Clinic (8-12 years)
This hour long class is for those who are at least a Fish level and are training for a swim team.
