YMCA full privilege membership means that when you join one YMCA in The Philadelphia and Vicinity Association - you join them all! If you live in one area and work in another, then this is the membership for you and your family! With a full membership you become a member of family of 11 YMCA locations of the YMCA of Philadelphia and Vicinity and have access to all of their facilities. You'll discover the convenience of being able to work out or attend classes at any of the locations. There's no additional fee per visit. The YMCA locations included are:Abington, Ambler (including the Fort Washington Wellness Center), Hatboro, Christian Street, Columbia North, Main Line, Northeast, Rocky Run, Roxborough, and West Philadelphia.

As always, when traveling you become a member of the nationwide AWAY program (Always Welcome at YMCAs) and can take advantage of hundreds of YMCA facilities and programs as if you were a member at each one.

*Bank Draft is a monthly membership fee automatically deducted from your personal checking account. Thirty days written notice discontinues the membership. There are no service charges. To participate in the Bank Draft, you must bring a check with you when joining. A $25.00 fee is charged for rejected bank drafts.

Program Memberships

An annual Youth Program Membership allows youth ages 6 weeks to 17 years to take a class or participate in a program by simply paying the session by session fee. Youth Program Membership must be current when registering for a class or program.Youth (6weeks to 17 years) $50 per year

Guest Fees

One Day Full Facility Use:

Adult (18 +) $10.00 (restrictions apply)

Youth (17 and under) $5.00 (restrictions apply)

Guests are limited to 3 visits. Any guest under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult member or parent/guardian.

A.W.A.Y.

Use participating YMCAs throughout the U.S. Outside a 50 mile radius of the Abington YMCA: 3 visits and then half of the guest fee.

Independence Blue Cross Silver Access

IBC is offering to YMCA of Philadelphia and Vicinity members a fully funded fitness benefit for Medicare members.  Click here for more information

Seniors with Aetna Policies

Aetna health policy holders on Medicaid can become Full Privilege Members of the YMCA at no charge! depending on your Aetna policy, you can become our newest member. Aetna pays 100% of your membership dues.

UFCW Membership

The United Food and Commercial Workers Union #1776 offers subsidy for membership and programs. Up to $300/individuals and $500/family memberships. Contact your union to see if you qualify.

Financial Assistance and Open Doors

The YMCA of Philadelphia and Vicinity is a non-profit health and human services organization committed to helping people grow in spirit, mind, and body.
